"Intruders" is one of the best books I have read in years, and I would reccommend it to anyone.I recently had the opportunity to read "Intruders", and I was delighted.
It far exceeded my expectations, and appeals to all audiences. Children will enjoy the action-packed plot, while adolescents and adults will see a deeper meaning in the story. It is an easy yet enjoyable read, which keeps the reader engaged in the story and a part of the action.
I found that as I read, I was drawn into the story so much that I found it difficult to put down. I often read late into the night just to be able to get to the next chapter. It was a page-turner from start to finish, and I loved that there was no break in the action. Many books these days, particularly books in the juvenille section, are bland and slow-moving and lack creativity, but "Intruders" breaks the mold of traditional storytelling and leaves the reader thirsting for more. I can't wait for future books by Jeff Gomm. I loved it!

This was a great book and was well written, easy for children to follow. I originally bought the book to read to my children, but as is my custom, I read it first. It has been a long time since a book has grabbed my attention from the beggining and kept it throughout the book. It has a good message and lets your imagination wonder to the fantasy world. I would recommend the book to anyone with children. Good, wholesome and entertaining.
Great read, well done Jeff. Once I got started I could not put it down. Recommend for anyone who enjoys imaginative adventure!
Intruders is a very fun read. I could not put the book down. The story is wonderful, the characters are lovable, and the entertainment is abundant and edifying. Can't wait to hear more from Jeff Gomm.
Very good book for youngsters and teenagers. The storyline moves along quickly. I also liked the parallels between the story and Christian ideals. However, if you are not Christian, you can read the story without getting preached at. It is well written for a wide audience.
At first I was excited to read the story, yet quickly realized that I had mad a mistake in picking this book. The story line was riddled with holes and lacked detail or development. If you're going to create an alternate underground world, it can't be done in 120 pages or less. I stuck it out to the end, but was extremely disappointed. Don't waste an afternoon on this novel.
This was a thoroughly enjoyable book. I was surprised at how quickly the story moved along. It felt as though I also became immersed in Cedar Creek and entered a whole new world. The story continued to pull at me and I did not want to put it down. INTRUDERS is a book that can be read on many levels, and will appeal to readers of all ages. I sincerely hope the author will write a sequel to this work. These characters have become real to me, and I am eager to know what happens next.
